Thanks everyone who tuned into the seminar yesterday, it was a fun session.
There was a technical issue with the seminar recording, but this has now been resolved.
Cheers,
Hayden

The seminar has been updated and you can now watch with chapters and slow down controls.
We will be covering more of her arrangements in the coming months.

Thanks for doing it again. Really enjoyed the seminar. Would you ever play it again modulating to a different key? Which key?
Hayden says
My pleasure Michael – I enjoyed preparing and teaching this one too.
Absolutely it’s a worthwhile exercise to transpose what we transcribe.
As I mention in the chapter “Tips For Transcribing & Absorbing Material” we should take smaller fragments of the transcription… the parts that we like best, and then apply them to other tunes.
This will involve transposition and this is the best way to develop our own sound in the direction we want to take it.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Hayden

Hayden this was an amazing seminar. Love it and recorded it so I could treat it as a tutorial.
Thought of another song suggestion which is equally beautiful. ‘How do you keep the music playing ‘. By Davis Osborne.
Can you make this happen in a seminar or a tutorial. 🙏
Karl.

Hi Karl.
I’m glad you enjoyed the session – Wednesday’s session on Beegie Adair’s rendition of “But Beautiful” will be a fun session so be sure to tune in.
Thanks for the suggestion – I agree a beautiful tune and yes we can definitely cover it in an upcoming lesson or seminar.
I have added it to the upcoming lesson schedule.
Cheers and hope to see you in the session on Thursday.
Cheers,
Hayden

Hi Hayden
I am very much looking forward to your next Beegie Adair seminar tomorrow. And preparing hard for it by revisiting, among others, this great seminar on My Foolish Heart. 😎
Is there by any chance a pdf-file of your full transcription available?
Cheers,
Eskil
