Lyndol was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Though, she studied classical piano and choral voice through her teens, her roots were steeped in Classic Rock, Country, and Pop. She did not uncover her passion for musical improvisation till she was in her early 20's. Lyndol spent four years formally studying jazz piano and composition at the American School of Modern Music in Paris, France during which time she also privately studied voice with Keri Chryst of the Jazz Vocal Academy. She has since been active on the NYC music scene in a variety of musical projects, calling Brooklyn her home.
